Apple devices are made with materials that allow to reduce its environmental impact by conserving natural resources and reducing waste. For example, the MacBook Pro is made from:
- 100% recycled aluminium
- 100% recycled rare earth elements in all magnets (98% of the rare earth elements in the device)
- 100% recycled tin in the solder of the main logic board.

MacBook Pros are designed to be energy efficient, which in turn enhances the longevity of the battery life, using less power. For example, the 16-inch MacBook Pro boasts up to 21 hours of battery life when continuously browsing on the web, while the 13-inch MacBook Pro is advertised with up to 20 hours of battery life. That’s a single charge from Singapore to New York!

Additionally, Apple has a comprehensive recycling program that allows customers to recycle their MacBook Pros at the end of their life cycle.

Apple are creating positive impact with clean energy, with 70% reduction in average product energy use since 2008.
